As a new school year begins, we invite you to help us support local students, not only with the supplies they need, but also with our prayers.
Our annual Mary H. Wright Elementary School Supply Drive is underway! You can help by donating items from the requested supply list or by shopping from our Amazon Wishlist. Donations may be dropped off in Satterlee Hall during the week or in the PCLC Lobby on Sundays. Please bring all school supply donations by Sunday, August 2.
On Sunday, August 2, we invite you to spend some time in prayer before the 10:15 AM service. From 9:15 to 10:00 AM, the Parish & Community Life Center Gym will be open with prayer stations focused on students, teachers, school staff, friends, and families as they begin a new school year.
If you are bringing school supplies that morning, a collection table will be available in the gym.
During the 10:15 AM Holy Eucharist, we will celebrate our Blessing of the Backpacks. Students and teachers are invited to bring their backpacks forward for a special blessing, and we will also bless all of the donated school supplies before they are delivered to Mary H. Wright Elementary School.
