The Episcopal Church of the Advent is an inclusive community. Our parish consists of individuals who would describe themselves as conservative and traditional, and others who would describe themselves as liberal and progressive. Focused on living out our faith in God, we believe that there’s a valuable gift being in community, sharing time and space, while appreciating and strengthening our bonds of affection. Our understanding of God and ourselves is deepened through our relationships with those who differ from us. We treat each other with respect and love while we work toward consensus and greater understanding. In this tradition, we’re very open and eager to collaborate with our ecumenical, interfaith, and other community and international neighbors.
In the end, there’s no substituting the experience of being here. The best way to learn about who we are and what we believe is to spend time with us. Come and worship and get to know us. We’d love to have you visit and to have the opportunity to get to know you.
